Mason just gets sweeter and sweeter. In fact, when we dropped him off at the nursery tonight, one teacher made sure he was placed in 'her' room (they split rooms) and when we picked him up, the volunteer wanted to tell us that he was the "best baby ever!" Throughout the day, he keeps running up to me to give me kisses, hugs, sit in my lap, lay in my lap or just say "mee-mee" which translates into "hold me". He is so cute because he now knows to say "please" when he wants something so instead of "uh-uh" he says "peesh-peesh". And he clearly knows what "up" and "dah" (down) means as well as "kuh" (cup), "no", "bah-ta" (bath time), "dah-ta" (diaper time), "hee-yah" (here), "yae-ah" (yeah), "biye" (bye), "da-da-da-da" (dance) and "ba-ba-ba-ba" (bounce) and "hay" (hey). So, as you can see, he is talking up a storm. He also dances a lot, and runs around the house screaming when he is hyper. One new trick that helps me out A LOT is the "hold your feet" diaper move. So, when he is laying down, I am not holding his legs up (against his will) to wipe his tooshie. I think, a parent's heart must grow with the child. Because just when you think there is no more room for loving that little boy...somehow...it grows!
