Daddy's Apples

Mason continues to make us laugh every day. He calls Dover's nipples "apples" and told a fly that landed on the ketchup bottle to, "get off my ketchup!" He is getting so big. He loves to help me with laundry, throwing stuff away, or to clean up his toys. His new favorite toy is his Thomas The Train Set, it keeps him busy for hours. He loves going to his new 2 year old class at church, where he IS the ladies' man. Kierston and Adah are the highlight of church nights for him (and when he sees Hannah afterwards). He still misses his vacation family Every day, after waking up, he asks for Hannah, Adah Ray, Nomie, and Ree. We seem to have a handle on his terrible two's for the moment. Keeping the spanking spoon nearby, does wonders! Just the sight of it straightens him out rather quickly. We began Mason's daily bible studies this week and I am so impressed with how much he understands and remembers. He likes to re-tell the story to me afterwards. He'll point out baby Moses in the basket, Noah and the boat, and all the animals. He thinks that Adam and Eve are mommy and daddy, so cute. Then we pray and do it all again the next day. He is learning his basic colors and describes his toys as "red, green, blue, lello." He's in a very possessive phase, where everything is "mine!" His new favorite foods: hot dogs, ketchup (by the spoon full), apples, grapes, french fries, and cereal bars. He is so fun right now, and I am not taking a single day for granted-just soaking it all in!
