Mason made this Thanksgiving paper for us in class Saturday night (church nursery). What a great craft for his age! This week includes two of Mason's first Thanksgiving feasts. (He wasn't eating solids this time last year.) He already had one at Emmy and
PawPaw's on Sunday, and he will have another at Nana and
Grandad's on Thursday. We decorated our home for Christmas this week and Mason runs around playing with all the Christmas Boxes by the fireplace, especially the one that lights up and plays music (that Great-Aunt Anne bought him last year). He has been so cheerful this week and full of energy, since he over his virus. We are trying to teach him to say "
puh-
puh" which will eventually develop into "peas" which will later develop into "please". Anything is better than the "uh-uh-uh" that he hollers
every time he wants something. I have a very strong-willed child..that is one of his gifts. We are just trying to teach him to use it correctly. (I am familiar with this gift..if you get my drift.) Dover has 5 days off work for Thanksgiving so he is looking forward to all of that family time with us, as are we! If I don't post before then, Happy Thanksgiving.
