6 Months Old

Well, you can see Mason is almost sitting up now. He uses his bebe pod to help him right now. He is using his high chair every meal and eating real fruits and vegetables. He can almost say "mama" and "dada" and he looks for each of us when we say "mommy" or "daddy". He has his first cold, really pitiful, but we are almost at the end of it thank goodness. Mason is so interactive now. He loves to laugh and scream (a happy scream, not a mad one). He can commando crawl but not very good. He rolls very well though, and loves to play with daddy's scruff on his chin. We are about to move to the big boy tub instead of the baby one because he is learning to splash mommy. Our hearts melt when he reaches for us and we have had a few 'battle of the wills'. (I win.) He certainly knows what "NO" means and we are beginning to teach him good habits and good manners. It is very interesting to see this tiny human being develop his personality. Although Mason LOVES his mommy, he is already a daddy's boy. When we walk in the family room, he immediatly looks at Dover's desk chair to see if he is there-so sweet! I am glad he will be able to sit up and play with all of his Christmas toys. Oh, and he and Bailey are developing their own little relationship. Bailey walks up to him and Mason reaches out and pets (grabs and pulls) her face. She loves it! Can't believe my baby is 6 months old! I love him.
